Playing with Words

My boys love playing with words! I found a really neat set at a dollar store a few years ago that is color coded for nouns, verbs, etc. They are magnetic and the children love playing with them while I cook or do dishes! They create, change, and laugh at the different combinations of words, all the while learning how words are used to create a sentence. The great part is that they think it’s fun, not learning! Here are a couple of pictures of some of their sentences. And more;Sometimes we laugh, sometimes they write me a message, but the whole thing is learning in a very visual and hands-on way. If you ever come across something like this it is well worth investing in!
