Sore Thumbs and Procrastinating Goats

Well, today has been full. I have a very sore and bloody thumb (I only hit it once, for goodness sake!) and a half-done rabbit cage. I also have a truck full of wood, bricks, and shingles thanks to some very good friends. Tomorrow I will show everyone my bunny cage once I have it completed!

Ellie is still procrastinating, making me wait for those babies. I am considering calling the vet to induce labor if she hasn’t started showing some serious signs of imminent delivery by tomorrow. I can’t really afford that, so I hope she get’s busy. I’m praying really hard that everything is okay!

I am also planning the garden planting, and hope to get my cool crops in by the weekend. I didn’t get seeds started, so I will have to bite the bullet and buy seedlings. So much for the heirlooms I wanted this year! Maybe I can get them ready for the fall planting and grow them under plastic tunnels. And so it goes….
