It really IS a rat in the barn! I saw green poop in Adina’s stall, and wondered if it was hers and how she got it, then realized the mouse poison I put out as a last resort had disappeared. In the process of looking, I saw the rat, sitting under the floor in his tunnel with his nose sticking out, taunting me; “Try it, just try to kill me. Bet you can’t catch me!” and then he disappears. Now, why couldn’t the snake have eaten him before causing all the ruckus?!

We have lots of them down at the farm, too, from all the fields and pasture around the house.
Good luck getting rid of it!
