Massage and Moisturizing Oils

Today I made up some oils for massage and moisturizing. They are really easy to make, and can be very pretty in a glass jar with a hand-made label or ribbon. The one in the odd shaped glass is a massage oil blend (but it can do well for moisturizing too) and is a very pretty light green. The other has a golden yellow cast, and is my daily moisturizing oil. Some of my handmade soap (lavender and rosemary moisture bar) is in front wrapped as a gift.

Homemade Oils

Here are the recipes if you care to use them. If you share them, please give me credit as they are my concoctions 🙂

Relaxing Massage Oil
~1/2 cup grapeseed oil
~1/2 cup sweet almond oil
~1 Tablespoon shea oil
~15 drops lavender essential oil
~15 drop bergemont essential oil
~15 drops rosemary essential oil
Combine oils in a tinted jar (clear if stored away from light) and shake well. Will last 8-12 months stored in a dark, cool place. Shake before using.

Ladies Deodorizing Daily Moisturizing Oil
~1/2 cup sweet almond oil
~10 drops cederwood essential oil
~12 drops lavender essential oil
Combine oils in a tinted glass jar and shake well. Use daily after bathing to lock in moisture and lightly scent the body. Shake before using.
