Clean Up

Yesterday was spent cleaning up from hurricane Irene, or at least starting to. It’s always a long process to do clean-up as well as the typical daily chores. I have been behind since forever! Today I need to make a list of things I need to do and prioritize them so they are done in the right order. The only problem with list like these is that I’m constantly adding to them! 🙂

It’s pretty out this morning, though we have scattered storms forecast for this afternoon and evening. I thought I would share a photo I took during the hurricane of a rose named “Peace” that bloomed with the arrival of the storm.

About nigerianmeadows

I am a homeschooling mother of 2 autistic children and cook gluten-free, I homestead on 2.5 acre and raise goats and chickens for dairy and eggs, I garden, cook, quilt, and take photographs. I build, paint, scrub, and dance on tables. I am the ultimate WOMAN!!! Oh, yeah, and I like my husband a whole lot (he is the one that makes all this possible, and he loves me like no other!)

Looks like a gorgeous rose to be. 🙂
My lists always grow, too. Hope you have a good week. ♥

God bless ya’! I know what you mean about the clean up after a storm! We are still cutting lumber from fallen trees after a small tornado and straight-line winds came though in late April/early May! Hang in there and know that us folks down South are praying for your quick recovery! As afar as catching up goes…I never expect to get to that glorious point because I just can’t stop adding things to do!! Lol! Thanks for sharing your beautiful rose…I ❤ it!

    • Thank you, Sarah! Many around here still don’t have power and need prayer! I was content with what I got done all things considered, lol! I think I prefer hurricanes to tornado’s. Those critters hit hard and wipe out everything in their path!
