Another goat in the kidding pen means I was up most of the night checking in on her. She is another first time mother, so I want to be there. Often the first time the doe doesn’t know what to do with the baby, so there is a higher risk of losing it. The poor girl is one unhappy goat right now, but true to her personality it hasn’t stopped her from wanting breakfast. She is very lazy though, and doesn’t want to be on her feet for long. I assume we are getting close, and hopefully I will have baby pictures to share with you later today.

Good luck with the delivery!
Thanks. We are still hanging out waiting. Goats, geeze! I sure as heck wish they could talk to me to tell me if it’s time or not!
Best wishes for a great birth! 🙂
